Spectacular long slides and fast spins – reining shows at AMERICANA are always something special. And reining is once more one of the highlights of Europe’s premier western event at Augsburg from August 28 until September 1. 2013 AMERICANA once more presents a variety of great reining shows including the $25,000 added Open Bronze Trophy, the final of which will be an important part of the evening show “Reining and Cow Horse Festival“ on Friday, August 30.  AMERICANA reining shows are NRHA USA approved.

Again, AMERICANA offers an attractive $5,000 Intermediate Open Bronze Trophy which is run class in class with the Bronze Trophy Open. Also there is a Limited Bronze Trophy Open and Non Pro and an Intermediate Trophy Non Pro.

But that is not all: In Augsburg, there will be seven more reining shows, including a $2,000 Dollar added NRHA Maturity (Senior Reining) 5 years & older Open and Non Pro. Also there are two Futurities for 3-year-old horses Open and a $ 5,000 added 4-year-old Futurity Open. For Non Pro participants, there is a Futurity 3&4 year old. Of course AMERICANA once more includes their famous Freestyle Reining classes Open and Non Pro. For youth competitors, there is a qualifier for the AMERICANA Reining European Championship.

AMERICANA-evening shows are the highlights

Visitors should book their tickets for the evening shows soon as they were sold out pretty early in recent years. These evening shows combine high class sport with fine show and entertainment, each evening show having got its own special attractions. On Friday, August 30, AMERICANA offers the “Reining and Cow Horse Festival “ with the NRHA Bronze Trophy Open final with a purse of $ 25,000 added. Here, there will be top reiners from all over the world. Also, the Friday show includes the top 6 Cow Horses showing their fencework.

The top act of the evening show “Cutting Spectacular & Cow Horse Futurity“ on Saturday, August 31, will be the European Cutting Championship final. Another   highlight of the Cattle Night will be the ERCHA European Reined Cow Horse Futurity final

Both evening show include show elements that have not been shown at an AMERICANA before.

For those who do not want to miss anything or plan their AMERICANA vacation, a whole show pass is the thing. It includes daily access to the showground from August 28 until September 1 and the admission to both evening shows with A category seats as well as admission to the FEI European Reining Championship team competition on Thursday night (August 29).

Our Tip!

Reining fans should at least buy a ticket for the Friday evening show which is available for € 26. Then, they will get a reduced admission to the FEI European Reining Championship on Thursday night (only another € 12).
